Another lost skier was rescued in the mountains of Transcarpathia

A 28-year-old Kyivan, on St. Valentine’s Day, got lost near the Drahobrat Mountain.

According to Transcarpathian rescuers, they received the report about the disappearance of skier on February 14 at 13:55 from his father.

The man got lost while skiing near the Drahobrat Mountain in Rakhiv district.

The father of the missing person said that he and his son had climbed the montain together and descended from there separately. Two hours after the descent, the father began to worry and immediately called mountain rescuers.

Six rescuers from Yasinya and Rakhiv mountain search and rescue departments and four volunteer rescuers found the tourist at about 20.00 in a small shepherd cabin in the Urda valley.

The lost skier was taken to his place of temporary residence. He did not need medical care.
