Almost 180 million hryvnias will be spent this year in Uzhgorod for street maintenance

Today, at the regular session of the city council, deputies made changes to the "Program of Uzhgorod street maintenance" for 2018-2022.

The draft was supported by 28 deputies. It was planned that in 2019, 86 million hryvnias would be allocated for repair of roads, sidewalks, maintenance of city lighting and traffic lights, etc. But now the deputies have decided to add about 100 million hryvnias more for those needs.

Thus, according to the updated program, 15.2 million hryvnias is provided for the reconstruction of city roads, more than 57 million for major repairs of roads, more than 2 million for the repair of sidewalks, another 5 million for the repair of inner territories and more than 7 million for the repair of Nezalezhnist embankment.

The rest of the funds were distributed for other needs identified in the program.
