The terms of opening of the new railway communication from Ukraine to Europe

The launch of passenger trains on the new European route Mukachevo-Budapest will take place by the end of 2018.

The Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Volodymyr Omelyan told about that on the "Channel 5", the Telegraph informed.

"I believe that after modernizing the existing European narrow-gauge tracks reaching Mukachevo, we will be able to launch this train, which will be managed by the Hungarian railway, this year, and Ukrainians will be able to feel the difference between Ukrainian and European trains," – the minister said.

Recall that the Acting Chairman of the "Ukrzaliznytsya" Yevhen Kravtsov on his Facebook page reported that the price of a ticket for the second class will be no more than 700 UAH, for the first class – about 1,000 UAH.
