Khust Local Prosecutor’s Office in co-operation with the officers of the inter-district division 2 of the Economic Crime Department in Transcarpathian region arrested the chairwoman of the cyclic medical commission, teacher of the Mizhhirya Medical College while receiving UAH 3,000 of illegal benefit, the press service of the Prosecutor’s Office in Transcarpathian region reported.
The teacher demanded the specified amount of illegal benefit from eight college students in exchange for good grades at the final exams.
The woman was arrested under Art. 208 of the CPC of Ukraine.
She will be notified of being suspected under Part 3 of Art.368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – extortion and receipt of an unlawful benefit by an official.
