On Friday 13, another exhibition of the famous Transcarpathian artist, the laureate of the Y.Bokshay and A. Erdelyi Regional Prize Olena Kondratyuk took place in the "Uzhgorod" gallery. The occasion was the anniversary, which the artist celebrated on March 27.
Therefore, the exhibition was retrospective and opened solemnly. The process was supervised by the director of the gallery Mykola Shete. Borys Kuzma, the head of the Transcarpathian organization of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine, noted that although Olena Kondratyuk is not a Transcarpathian (she was born in Zaporizhzhia), she is still making a contribution to the development of Transcarpathian painting. "The works are so feminine, tender. There is the woman in almost every one of them, – Mr. Kuzma says. – The woman as a mother, a lover, the Motherland."
Transcarpathian artist Anton Kovach summed up: the works of Olena Kondratyuk are filled with an incredible love for the world that surrounds her. The artist responded to that that she is a happy person.
Then there were flowers, hugs and congratulations from colleagues, friends, acquaintances. Regarding the works, several dozens from different creative periods are presented. A rich vibrant color scheme dominates.
