Transcarpathian border guards detained a car, which was wanted by Interpol

Border guards of the Chop detachment detained on Ukrainian-Slovak border a car that was wanted by the Interpol.

Yesterday, a car "Volkswagen" with Czech registration driven by our compatriot arrived at the checkpoint "Uzhgorod" to enter Ukraine.

During the inspection of documents, the alert from the "Interpol" database was received. Border guards reported that fact to representatives of the Ukrainian Interpol Bureau and the National Police. As it turned out, the vehicle was recorded as stolen in the Russian Federation.

The vehicle and the documents were handed over to the National Police.
