From Mykolayiv to Transcarpathia – an art exhibition of ethnic Germans of Ukraine was presented in Mukachevo (PHOTOS)

The exhibition is devoted to the 500th anniversary of the Reformation and the Days of the Germans of the Black Sea region, the Zakarpattya online informs.

The exhibition of works by members of the "Palitra-Spektr" art club was opened in the picture gallery of the Mukachevo Historical Museum Palanok Castle. The display is devoted to the 500th anniversary of the Reformation and the Days of the Germans of the Black Sea Region, and is represented by such thematic sections as "Churches of Ukraine", "The Legend of Mennonites", "Blind Eyes of History".

The exhibition presents about 30 works of various authors. As told during the opening of the exhibition, the authors presented here were working fruitfully during the expedition to preserve the heritage and study of former settlements of the Germans of the Northern Black Sea coast (Odesa and Mykolaiv regions). This exhibition was preceded by an extensive research that resulted in the thematic exhibition.

The project is taking place in Transcarpathia for the second time. The following authors presented their works at the exhibition: Petro Alekseev, Igor Kamengerg, Galina Nevinchana-Martin, Natalia Rybar, Harry Ruff, Tetyana Yushko, Viktor Semernyov.
