The “Narcissus Valley” has been visited by about 10 thousand visitors (PHOTOS)

The unique biological reserve "Narcissus Valley" in the Kireshi tract near Khust these days is going through the peak flowering, the press center of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration informs.

More than 25 hectares of the reserve is covered with white flowers, which many tourists come to look at.

Hennadiy Moskal reassured: the information spread in March by some media that burning of dry grass in the "Valley" caused irreparable damage to the flowers’ root system is not true.

To date, the reserve has been visited by about ten thousand people. Incidentally, in early May, the "Ukrzaliznytsya" launched a new train "Solotvyno – Kyiv", which passes through Khust, so tourists from other regions have the opportunity to get to Khust by train directly.

Recall that the reserved area "Narcissus Valley" is a part of the UNESCO international network of biosphere reserves. It is the largest habitat of the rare narcissus in Central Europe.
