Today, July 27, during the session of the Transcarpathian Regional Council, deputies approved the decision to appoint Yevhen Haponenko as the director of the "Uzhgorod" International Airport, the Zaholovok informs.
"To appoint Yevhen Haponenko the director of the Transcarpathian Regional Utility Enterprise "Uzhgorod" International Airport" for a term of 1 year. The Chairman of the Regional Council shall conclude a contract with Yevhen Haponenko for a term of 1 year", – the decision states.
Recall that due to the suspension of flights from the Uzhgorod airport, the regional deputies appealed to the country’s leadership requesting to assist in resolving bureaucratic problems. And the head of the regional state administration promised to appeal to international carriers if Kyiv does not do anything.
