Uzhgorod residents suggest to make in the city a memorial in honor of the soldiers who died for their country

The proposition for the establishment of the Pantheon of National Glory in honor of the fallen Heroes in Uzhgorod was posted on Facebook. Here is what Taras Deyak writes about it:

"February 20. The third anniversary of bloody shootings in the heart of Ukraine, then the beginning of the Russo-Ukrainian war. During this time, not a single large-scale memorial in honor of the fallen Heroes has been created in Transcarpathia.

Thefore, the nationalist movement "Carpathian Sich" and the union of combatants "United by War" initiated the establishment of Pantheon of National Glory in the city center – on S. Petofi Square. We invite relatives of the fallen participants of the Maidan and military, volunteers, community organizations, who participated in the events of the Revolution and the war, as well as the city authorities, intellectuals, architects and active citizens to join the initiative group.

The comments under the post of T. Deyak prove that the idea deserves attention and full support.
