Yesterday, December 5, at about 6:00 pm, policemen received from a resident of the village of Onokivtsi a report that an accident had happened on the bypass road in Uzhgorod, near one of the local restaurants.
The investigative team was sent to the scene.
As the police found out, the driver of a car had hit a 59-year-old man. The pedestrian died as a result of the injuries. The culprit of the accident fled from the accident scene.
The owner of a gray Skoda with foreign registration, possibly without a right mirror, is suspected of committing the accident.
