At the checkpoint "Tisa", border guards of the Chop detachment together with customs officers prevented two attempts of illegal transportation of tobacco products across the border.

First, a Hungarian traveling by a car "KIA" wanted to try his luck. However, during the in-depth inspection, border guards found 100 packs of tobacco products of different brands in a cavity under the dashboard of the car.

In the second case, another Hungarian citizen traveling by a car "Audi" tried to illegally ship cigarettes into the EU.  The man hid 480 packs of cigarettes "Rothmans" in design features of his car.

In both cases,for trafficking of tobacco products in the amount of over 5,000 UAH, the drivers lost their cars that were evaluated at over 100,000 UAH.
