Benches in Uzhgorod, unfortunately, often become the target of aggression by mentally and ethically immature teenagers. And now, there was another act of vandalism: two benches were broken on Nezalezhnist embankment the Depo.Zakarpattya reports citing the zakarpatpost.net.
It remains a mystery whether the wooden structure bothered someone so much, or they just wanted to test their strength. In addition, on Studentska embankment, someone "uprooted" an old trash bin.
By the way, intentional damage or destruction of public property (Art. 194 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) is punishable by a fine up to fifty non-taxable minimum incomes, or correctional labor for up to two years, or imprisonment for up to three years. It is a pity that the police could not find those, who should be punished.
