The working group of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine will come to Transcarpathia for expert elaboration of the projects for development of road infrastructure and border checkpoints on the Ukrainian-Hungarian border. The relevant order was given by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman.
Ukrainian experts will be working together with the representatives of Hungary, the goal of the meeting is to prepare a bilateral intergovernmental agreement on providing financial assistance to Ukraine, which includes the construction of Beregovo ring road. The new road will connect the Hungarian motorway M-3 and the international highway "Kyiv – Chop". After its opening, Budapest could be reached from border crossing point in 2.5 hours.
The topic of Beregovo ring road, which will give a powerful impetus to economic development of the border regions of the both countries, has been repeatedly raised during meetings of the head of the regional state administration Hennadiy Moskal with representatives of the Government of Hungary.
It is expected that all the necessary documents to commence the construction of the road will be signed during the official visit of the Prime Minister of Ukraine to Hungary in November.
