A Moldovan fraudster wanted by the Interpol was detained by Transcarpathia

A 31-year-old citizen of Moldova, wanted internationally for committing frauds, tried to go to Hungary via Ukraine.

At the checkpoint "Vylok", Transcarpathian border guards detained the man, and the police took him into custody.

 

The police of Vynogradiv received from border guards at the checkpoint "Vylok" a report that a person wanted by the Interpol had been detected there. The investigative team arrived at the scene.

As it turned out, the 31-year-old citizen of Moldova, a resident of the city of Chisinau, was the international wanted list for committing frauds. He tried to get from Ukraine to Hungary. When he presented his passport at the border, it turned out that the man was in the international wanted list.

Border guards handed over the Moldovan to the police. Investigators of Vynogradiv police arrested the man under Art. 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine and put to the temporary detention facility. The police are establishing the circumstances of the case.
