A modern plant for wood processing has been opened in Rakhiv district

After extensive renovation, a modern plant for wood processing has been opened in the village of Chorna Tisa.

 Forestry professionals from around the district came to see the work of the machines.

The deputy head of Transcarpathian Regional Forestry and Hunting Administration Igor Kocur, the director of "Yasinya Forestry" Vasyl Telechuk, and the head of the village of Chorna Tisa Ivan Pavlyuchok had the honor to cut the red ribbon.

The company will produce high-quality environmental materials (treated boards and planed timber) with a lifetime of 50 to 100 years.

"This is the only equipment of its kind in the district – the deputy head of the regional forest administration Igor Kocur said. – There are seven production lines in the plant. It provides high-quality automatic process of board cutting. It works in two modes. It allows not only to increase productivity but also to significantly improve the quality of the material with minimum of physical costs and waste."

– The new high-tech enterprise is of great importance not only for the district but also for the region – the director of "Yasinya Forestry" Vasyl Telechuk said. – It is a closed cycle of wasteless and clean production, a new step in the development of the economy, and hence the entire Yasinya forestry. New jobs contribute to the improvement of the lives of people in this village. And the development of Yasinya will be largely associated with the development of this facility. 20 workers will be empoyed atthe plant, and their salaries will reach over 4000 UAH per month.
