Brass bands – the Orchestra of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Transcarpathia and the military band of our 128th Brigade – were fighting in a kind of a musical duel in Uzhgorod.
However, the participants prefer to call it a creative tandem for the joy of Uzhgorod resident and visitors.
Unfortunately, due to rainy weather, the event was moved from Teatralna Square to the square in front of the Regional Music and Drama Theater. Therefore, there were few spectators. The orchestras in turn played compositions: from marches to covers of popular songs. The music was so good, it gave people goosebumps.
Also the musicians assured that such musical tandems will take place again and invited to the Parade of brass bands of Transcarpathia on 14th of October.
Friday concerts of the orchestra of the MIA Office will continue, and on the Day of the City, the musicians will play an hour-long concert in the Pidzamkovy Park (the beginning is at 13.00).
