The rules for the sale of wood through stock trades have become stricter in Transcarpathia. By the order of the head of the Regional State Administration H. Moskal, only the economic entities engaged in wood processing as evidenced by permits for operation and use of vehicles, machinery and equipment are allowed to participate in auctions for the sale of raw wood.
According to the Regional Forestry and Hunting Department, currently, 156 business entities have such permits in Transcarpathia, 117 are drawing up documents at the regional branch of the state regulatory authority.
Recall that on November 1, the law which prohibits the export of round timber entered into force.
