Vasyl Hubal on mobilization: “We are not going to force anyone to go to the war”

The head of the Transcarpathian State Regional Administration Vasyl Hubal believes that mobilization in the region is going on normally. He noted that the issue of mobilization had been repeatedly raised during the meetings at the government and at the Presidential Administration. Primarily, problems arise due to work migration of countrymen.

"We have problems with mobilization. They are related to the migration of people. I said at the meeting that instead of going for the quantity, it would be better to make this process focused on quality. We have more than five hundred mobilized men, 80% of them are volunteers. Men and women knowingly went to training centers, some are already on the front in Horlivka.

I am proud that we have volunteers who go to protect their homeland. We can defend our country. There have been no deserters among Transcarpathians.  We are not going to force anyone to go to the war. We will strive to fulfill the plan of mobilization, but we will try to do everything possible to send to the army strong in spirit, healthy men, and we will pray for them so that they return home alive," – the head of the region said at the press conference.
