The construction of the fountain on Narodna Square has resumed (PHOTOS)

On Friday, after a year-long break, workers resumed the construction of the fountain on Narodna Square in Uzhgorod.

Like the "reconstruction" of the square itself, it has been in the state of perpetual incompleteness. The "Perepilka" company, which won the tender for the repair, disappeared from the square together with the former Governor Ledyda, who had initiated the reconstruction. Last year Ledyda already promised to open the fountain on the Independence Day.

Currently, workers say that they can start the fountain in a week, provided there is the funding.
