Mustafa Nayem will be overseeing the formation of the police in Transcarpathia

MP, journalist Mustafa Nayem will be overseeing the formation of the patrol police in Transcarpathia.

This was announced by the Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov.

"In the coming days, several crews of the the Kyiv patrol police, our start-up team and the newly appointed superviser of the project launch in Transcarpathia - a member of the board of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, MP Mustafa Nayem - will come to the region" - he wrote in Facebook.

"The patrol police of Ukraine will appear in Transcarpathia. We will start with Uzhgorod, Mukachevo and nearby roads. On Monday we will start planning and forming the team, and the next week, several crews of the #Kyivpolice will go to Uzhgorod for inspection and preparation of the base for local patrol. I will be overseeing the project as a member of the board of the Ministry of Internal Affaits. We must succeed, there are no other options. Good luck to all of us," - Nayem commented on his appointment.
