The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reported that the information disseminated in the media that border guards require male citizens of Ukraine of conscript age to present certificates from military commissariats at border crossing, is not true.

Under the current legislation, presentation of such cerificates for border crossing is not required.

The documents that give right of exit from and entry to Ukraine are passport of a citizen of Ukraine for travel abroad, travel document for a child, diplomatic passport, service passport, seaman's ID.

During the check of the documents at exit from Ukraine, the presence or absence of grounds for temporary restrictions on the right of the citizen to travel abroad is also established.
