January 23, at 17.00, in the Transcarpathian Regional Universal Scientific Library named after F.Potushnyak, there will be the presentation of the book "Somewhere around" by the Rusnak poet Samantha Rat-Stoilkovich who has been writing poetry and prose since the age of 13 years.
36 texts were translated by Transcarpathian playwright and journalist Oleksandr Havrosh and illustrated with graphic works by Yulia Protsyshyn.
This is the first bilingual collection of the Rusnak poet.
"Her poems resemble fairy tales about girl’s initiations, when the heroine endures numerous tests, overcomes ostacles to reach the goal – alive or dead," – historian and researcher Serhiy Fedaka wrote about the collection.
Also at the event, they will present a documentary book by Oleksandr Havrosh "Wandering People" and the premiere of the documentary film by the "Tisa-1" channel about the life of the Ukrainian diaspora in the Balkans.
