The boards on the supporting wall of Uzh must go – this is the demand of the community, which, in fact, has been talked about for years, and finally we have a chance to remove "advertising trash" that distorts the historical center of the city.
"On the margins" of the executive committee it became known that right during the meeting, they began dismantling one of the boards on the wall close to the Philharmonic.
Yesterday evening, Marianna Sobran (NGO "Mist") announced on facebook that they had reached an agreement for voluntary dismantling of the boards by the owner, and asked the Executive Committee not to forget to provide alternative locations for advertising.
"If these businesses have finally heard the community, then the relevant departments need to examine permits for these advertising spaces and provide an alternative location for the boards instead of those on the supporting wall – for the rest of the validity term of permits" – she writes in the group "Uzhgorod".
