The Right Sector of Transcarpathia states its position of non-interference in the affairs of religious communities

The Right Sector of Transcarpathia posted a statement on the construction of the Heaven’s Hundred Temple on B. Khmelnytsky Sq. in Uzhgorod.

"Regarding the participation of the Right Sector representatives in the construction of the Heaven’s Hundred Temple, we inform that we do not take active part neither in the construction of the temple, nor in the organization thereof.

The issue of building churches and temples is the responsibility of the local community and religious groups, and we in no way are going to interfere.

Representatives of the Right Sector in Transcarpathia were present at the ceremony of launchig the construction of the temple on May 6, 2014, at the invitation of Fr.Kyryl.

We support this good initiative, but emphasize that issues of the construction of churches must be considered by local and religious communities and intervention of political and public organizations in this is unacceptable," – the statement says.

We remind that yesterday, on B. Khmelnytsky Sq., Father Kyryl established a cross and announced the intention to build a place of worship there.
