10% of employees in the Transcarpathian prosecutor’s office will be laid off

Prosecutors struggle with financial disaster in their own way: to comply with the relevant Law of Ukraine (which aims, among other things, to reduce the cost of maintaining the state apparatus), they started the optimization of the staff, including the decreasing of "the proportion of senior staff."

Prosecutor of the region Oleg Sydorchuk said: they have prepared propositions. according to which 10% of employees will be laid off. Currently, there are 430 employees of the prosecutor’s office in the region. There will be a large-scale rotation among chiefs and deputy chiefs of departments – the prosecutor said, explaining – thus they will avoid the problems that have arisen from the fact "that some people are too long in certain places," – Sydorchuk said.
