Georgians failed to get to Slovakia

Yesterday, border guards of the Chop detachment detained another "seekers of happiness."

Two "tourists" intended to cross the Ukrainian-Slovak border at nightfall. But they did not take into account the fact that their appearance on the outskirts of one of the settlements had already been noticed by a border patrol of the "Huta" unit. Having reported about the "guests" heading to Slovakia, border guards continued tracking the men, and later detained them.

The offenders said that they were citizens of Georgia, born in 1973 and 1988, though only one of them confirmed his identity by providing border guards the internal passport of a citizen of Georgia.

For the attempt to illegally cross the border, the men will be prosecuted under current legislation of Ukraine.
