Prosecutor’s Office returned to the state 1.63 hectares of border strip land

Prosecutor’s Office of the Western region of Ukraine to oversee the compliance with the laws in the military sphere, returned to the state 1.63 ha of border strip land costing over 100,000 UAH.

Commercial Court of Transcarpathian region granted the claim of the Transcarpathian specialized prosecutor and canceled the decision of the Koson Village Council in Beregovo district of Transcarpathian region. According to the illegal decision of the local government, a private citizen was granted ownership of the land in the border zone, which belongs to the state represented by the State Border Service of Ukraine.

According to the head of the department for representation of citizens and the state’s interests in courts of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Western region Ukraine to oversee the compliance with the laws in the military sphere Vasyl Mayorchak, the law prohibits to transfer the disputed land from the state ownership.

Thanks to the determined position, prosecutors of the Western region of Ukraine to oversee the compliance with the laws in the military sphere, returned the land to the state, – Mykola Hutsulyak, a spokesman for the prosecutor of the Western region of Ukraine to oversee the compliance with the laws in the military sphere said.
