This week, to celebrate the 1025th anniversary of the Baptism of Kyiv Rus, an 8-meter Cross was set on the Polonyna Runa, at the height of 1486 meters, the official site of the Mukachevo eparchy informed.
The Cross will be consecrated by the Archbishop of Mukachevo and Uzhgorod Theodore on August 21 at 13.00 during the ascent of the participants of the International integrated sports and arts festival "Stars can be reached" to the Mount Polonyna Runa.
Recall that the festival "Stars can be reached" is held by the All-Ukrainian NGO "National Assembly of Disabled of Ukraine" and the NGO "Inva-tour "Renaissance" together with the Orthodox Eparchy of Mukachevo.
