In Uzhgorod the night bicycle ride was held again. This time Night Ride had the original dress code – mustache and hat, and the name "VelosyPedro." As the organizer Vita Munchak informed, about two hundred residents with such accoutrement saddled their bikes. They started off together at 7 PM from Teatralna Square.
The aim of the Night Ride participants is to draw attention to the bike as the most ecology-friendly transport and the issue of urban cycling infrastructure. Also cyclists stress to municipal authorities: for the safety and comfort of Uzhgorod citizens (and not only cyclists!) they should take care of street lighting!
