Illegal immigrants from Georgia have been detained by border guards

Today at dawn border guards of the post "Onokivtsi" of the Chop detachment detained another group of illegal migrants, this time - from Georgia.

About five o'clock border guard eguipment triggered, so in a few minutes the operational group was conducting search at the border stretch. In half a kilometer from the state border a search dog detected trails of offenders, and in another hundred meters they found the "travelers" themselves. The detainees were two males of Caucasian appearance without documents, according to their words they were Georgian citizens who sought to enter the EU in order to improve living conditions.

The "seekers of happiness" were delivered to the Department of the Border Guard Service "Uzhgorod" to clarify the circumstances of the offense and make administrative and procedural documents. The decision on the procecution and the further fate of all detainees will be determined by the court - informed the press office of the Chop border guard detachment.
