Dec. 1 there will be the grand opening of the skating season in the skating rink near the "Dastor." The first to come on the ice will be the hockey players – last year’s champions of Transcarpathia "Shakhtarski barsy," and at 12.00 the actual ceremony will start.
The information was reported by the president of the Transcarpathian hockey federation Vasyl Yabryk and director of the "Ice land" skating rink, head coach of child hockey team Andriy Maksimovich, reported the Uzhgorod.net.
This year, organizers say, school groups retain the right for free use of the rink from 9 to 11 on weekdays. However, kids under 1 m 20 cm tall can skate free of charge at any time.
This year skating rinks will be operating not only in the regional center, but also in Tyachiv and Mukachevo.
