Kaskiv plans to hold Olympics-2022 in Transcarpathia on the lands of his relatives

The main owner of the "Borzhava Resort" LLC where Vladislav Kaskiv’s State Agency for Investment and National Projects plans to build a ski resort for the 2022 Olympics, is a cousin of Vladislav Kaskiv – Oleksandr Matkovsky – informed Zakarpattya online citing "Nashi Hroshi."
"Borzhava Resort" LLC started collecting land lots on Borzhava range a few years ago and now it controls 30 hectares. Also among the founders of "Borzhava Resort" is "Karpaty Invest" PE belonging to Anna Chyzhmar – mother of the former Governor of Ternopil region Yuri Chyzhmar.
Brother of the State Agency head Vladislav Kaskiv, Oleksandr is also the founder of "Borzhava Ski" LLC, which has a tourist base in the village of Pylypets.
Recall Ukraine claims the right to host the Winter Olympics in 2022. The official application for participation in the tender of the International Olympic Committee should be submitted in 2014.
The government plans to hold Olympic competitions partly in Lviv region, partly in Transcarpathian region. Namely, competitions in Alpine skiing are planned to be held in the triangle between the villages of Pylypets, Volovets and Huklyve. Several years ago firms controlled by Kaskiv family began collecting land lots in this area.
It is expected that the government will build infrastructure in this area – roads, networks. Private investors, which have not been officially elected yet, will build sports tourism infrastructure – aparthotels, chalets, develop conference service. In order the resort could operate not only in winter, the designers have to learn "activities that can be carried out in the spring, summer and fall (golf, soccer, mountain biking), or those that can be interesting all year round (tubing)."
Previously the State Agency for Investment and National Projects several times have ordered a feasibility study of the project, three times have changed the contractor.
