Village of Bushtyno in Tyachiv district celebrated its birthday (PHOTOS)

The village of Bushtyno in Tyachiv region celebrated its birthday on Sunday, May 6. This time they celebrated if not a round but respectable date – 643 years since its foundation.

The festival started when the priests from different denominations served at the memorial sign, which was set in honor of the village of Bushtyno founders in the center of the village and obelisk in the memory of those who was killed in the Second World War.

The most interesting part of any birthday: dancing, singing and, of course, gifts, and even karaoke in the evening and fireworks, started later on the village park stadium later.

It is worth mentioning that despite the 643-year ‘biography’ – the Day of the village is held in Bushtyno only for the second time. From now on the village of Bushtyno has its own birthday, on the initiative of the present village head Ivan Pash.

The village day was held with the support of the Transcarpathian Regional Council deputy Pavlo Baloga. The sponsor contributed in provision of all the necessary attributes on the national holiday: concert stage, sound equipment, karaoke and fireworks. Moreover, five respected village dwellers received LCD TVs each as gifts for their long term work for the village benefit. Bushtyno orphanage school received as a gift a certificate for various sports equipment from the Regional Council Deputy, and the secondary school received sound equipments. The pupils of creative groups of the village Bushtyno received the packages of sweets after the performance.
