Cinematographic event “Ne_moe movie” (silent movie) will take place in Uzhgorod

On June 3, 2012 at 7 p.m. at Theater Square cinematographic event "Ne_moe movie" will take place in Uzhgorod.

As the event organizers reported to Zakarpattya online the project aims to draw attention of modern people to the period of cinema when it still could not "talk". Back then it was a clean sheet – no one knew what and how to film. Anyone who had access to the camera began to create a movie, putting the whole soul in their work. Thus, masterpieces were born, which were admired but lost over time. Now it is a high time to remember them.

The event initiator Aleksei Umansky decided to “go through all over the basics”. Having made cuts from famous pictures, he invited interesting musicians to dub them.
In addition to the musicians’ work, there will also be shown two short silent movie stories, based on the works by Danish cartoonist Herluf Bidstrup – "Benches" and «The Son»
