On December 1, in the Regional Art Museum, there was a presentation of the publication, the significance of which goes far beyond Transcarpathia. "Yosyp Bokshay. A man of truth. An artist of truth" is the most complete research of the life and work of one of the most famous and popular artists of Transcarpathia.
The art album was published at the state publishing house "Karpaty" and was presented by its director Victor Braslavets. In particular, he said that they had been working on the book for about three years and this unique project broght together many experts.
The album contains more than 400 works that are now kept in private and museum collections of Ukraine and abroad, as well as art researches by Francisk Erfan, Lyudmila Biksey, Olena Chernega-Balla, Olena Prykhodko, Juraj Zhadansky, Frantisek Gibla, collector Oleksandr Brey.
The publisher thanked the team of the regional art museum for fruitful and pleasant cooperation, and also noted the editor of the book Boris Kushnir and graphic designer Monika Eney, who did everything to recreate complex and exquisite paintings of the Master on paper as closely as possible.
