Late cabbage in Transcarpathia is sufferring from pests

Transcarpathians have been wondering why the prices for cabbage have soared so much in the region. As it turned out, there is a good reason for this. As of August 23, 17% of late-maturing cabbages suffer from various pests. This was reported by the State Consumer Protection Service.

The cabbage harvest was affected by pests in Transcarpathia and Kherson region.

1 to 6% of cabbage plants are affected by vascular and mucous bacteriosis.

Due to sharp daily changes in temperature and increase in humidity, alternaria, late blight, apical rot have developed on tomatoes. In the western regions, the development of the disease has become epiphytotic, ie, widely spread.
