Investment and economic potential of Transcarpathia will be presented in Uzhgorod

On Tuesday, December 15, in Uzhgorod, there will be the presentation of the investment and economic potential of Transcarpathian region.

The event will be attended by leaders of the region, representatives of diplomatic missions, local governments, educational institutions, NGOs, businesses of the region.
The presentation will take place at:  Uzhgorod,  Elektrozavodska st., 29. 
The beginning and the official opening will take place at 11.00.

To note:

Today, in the region, there are 661 companies with foreign investments from 48 countries. The main investors are countries of the European Union, which as of today have invested USD 241.5 million in the regional economy in such sectors as industry, wholesale and retail trade, transport, storage, postal and courier activities. Successful long-term cooperation with foreign companies showed that foreign business can effectively and safely operate in the region, bringing benefits to both Ukrainian and foreign partners.
