On May 22, at 19:23, the Rescue Service "101" received a report of a fire in a private house in the village ofBoharevytsya in Irshava district. A crew of the 5th State Fire and Rescue Unit of the city of Irshava consisting of four rescuers was promptly sent at the said address.
Upon arrival, it was found out that the focus of the fire was the kitchen. They had to act quickly to stop the fire from spreading to other rooms of the house. At 19:45, the fire was contained. It took another half an hour to completely eliminate it at 20:15. The total area of the fire was 15 square meters. The fire destroyed floors on an area of 15 square meters, a window and household goods, and damaged the appliances and furniture.
The cause of the fire is to be established. Most likely, the fire was caused by careless handling of fire by the owner’s daughter born in 1999, who was cooking food in the kitchen.
