Members of the Transcarpathian regional branch of the Ukrainian Federation of Sports for the Disabled with Musculoskeletal Disorders headed by Oleksandr Lyzanets provided assistance to the dog shelter in Barvinok, the Pro Zakhid reported.
This shelter is run by the charity fund "Everyone has a second chance", which is headed by animal rights activist Angela Mogorita.
Transcarpathian Paralympians were pleasantly surprised that even dogs with significant injuries are brought back to life in the shelter.
