Events dedicated to the Day of Tourism will take place in Transcarpathia

Every year, on September 27, the World Tourism Day is celebrated around the world, and since 1998 – the Day of Tourism in Ukraine. The aim is to promote tourism, highlight its contribution to the economy of the world community and the development of ties between the peoples of different countries. Days of tourism will be held in Transcarpathia, which will include the following events: September 24, 2020 – awarding of the best specialists in the tourism industry of Transcarpathia (the beginning is at 10.00, Atrium of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration), September 24, 2020 – signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation to support the functioning of the Center for Sustainable Tourism of the Ukrainian Carpathians established in the framework of the Project "Ensuring the development of sustainable tourism in the Ukrainian Carpathians" between the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration, Transcarpathian Regional Council and the Agency for Regional Development of Transcarpathian Region (the beginning is at 10.45, Atrium of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration), September 24, 2020 – a conference on the topic: "Creation of new tourist locations through the implementation of regional development projects"  (the beginning at 11.00, Open Office, Maly Halahov Park), September 25, 2020 – opening of the tourist exhibition of the cultural route "Way of the Hunya" (Open office, Maly Halahov Park near the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration). Organizers of events: Transcarpathian Regional State Administration, Department of Tourism and Resorts of Transcarpathian Regional State Administration, Transcarpathian Regional Council, "Regional Development Agency of Transcarpathia".
