Attention! Deterioration of weather conditions!

On December 23-24, at high and middle altitudes of the central and eastern part of Transcarpathian region, due to snowstorms: 

– in the western and central parts – moderate avalanche hazard (level II) will remain; 

– in the eastern part – high avalanche hazard (level III) will remain.

In the mountainous areas of the central and eastern part of the region, there is a danger of snow slides on the roads.

During the night and in the morning of December 24, heavy snow and wet snow are expected in Transcarpathian region, in the lowlands of the region – with transition to rain. In some places: slush build-up, ice, snowstorms, snow drifts on the passes. On the roads there will be ice covering. In some places, northwest wind of 15-20 m / s.
