A Ukrainian who threatened a Hungarian border guard was put on international wanted list (VIDEO)

District Prosecutor’s Office of the city of Vasarosnameny has extended the arrest period for two Hungarian men who left a funeral wreath with threats at the house of a border police officer on October 20, 2019.

It was found out that this act of intimidation and blackmail was ordered by a citizen of Ukraine. The latter had a conflict with a Hungarian border patrol that did not let a large batch of smuggled cigarettes across the border, so he decided to take revenge.

The smuggler hired two Hungarian men to buy a wreath, then wrote a threatening message in one of their apartments, and later he and his accomplices brought it at the victim’s address.

The police arrested two Hungarian criminals almost immediately. At the request of the prosecution, the district court of the city of Matesalka issued an international and European arrest warrant for the Ukrainian blackmailer. That is, he can be arrested only in the European Union.

According to the prosecutor’s office, the suspects should remain in custody for a minimum of 3 months. Because outside they may be intimidated or otherwise influenced.
