A Transcarpathian company evaded taxes in the amount of almost UAH 1 million 300 thousand

Officers of the investigation department of the Main Office of the SFS in Transcarpathian region together with the risk analysis department of the Transcarpathian customs took effective measures as part of "Frontier" operation. According to the information provided by detectives to officers of the Transcarpathian customs, the report on violation of customs regulations against a Transcarpathian enterprise was drawn up.

In particular, it was found out that in the first half of 2015, the company imported into Ukraine 3 trucks "DAF XF" and submitted for customs clearance false information on the year of manufacture and the first registration of the vehicles. This allowed them to evade paying taxes and customs duties totaling UAH 1 million 299 thousand, including: the excise tax – UAH 1 million 82.5 thousand, and VAT – UAH 216,5 thousand.

The fact of tax evasion by the aforementioned company officials, that led to actual underpayment to the budget in large amounts, was registered in the Unified register of pre-trial investigations as a criminal offense under Part 1 of Art. 212 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The vehicles were confiscated. The investigation continues.
