A customer met employees of the “Zakarpathaz” PJSC with “Molotov cocktail”

As we reported, employees of the "Zakarpathaz" PJSC, disconnecting gas supply due to debt to a citizen U, faced an inadequate resistance. The client, even recognizing the existence of the debt, blocked the street, and later, after numerous threats, used the so-called "Molotov cocktail" against police officers, who had arrived at the scene, and gas workers.

Unfortunately, situations, where our people are threatened, occur quite often – the Technical Director of the "Zakarpathaz" PJSC Andriy Horvat says. – They are threatened with weapons, dogs, "connections." But when a person is not guided by emotions and realizes that they are not only endowed with the right to use natural gas, but also the obligation to pay for the consumed resources, the problem is solved. Today, it went further – a resident of the regional center fulfilled his threats and used two bottles of incendiary mixture.

The police was called at the scene by the gas company workers, as the consumer blocked the street in order to prevent the passage of special vehicles to his home. More than 24 thousand hryvnia debt, systematic non-payment for the consumed resources for two years, non-admission of the gas distribution company employees to check existing gas appliances and constant threats resulted in termination of gas supply – a radical method, which the gas company resorts to the last.
