Next week, one of the largest book fairs in Germany opens in Leipzig.
This year Ukraine will be represented there as extensively as never before: by as many as two dozen authors. On the occasion of this event, two German-language anthologies of modern Ukrainian literature will be released.
The first one, prepared by Lviv Publishers Forum, contains information about thirteen Ukrainian authors and excerpts from their works. The second one, prepared within the project "More countries – more books," presents texts of another eight modern writers from Ukraine.
It is good to know that German almanacs included also the works by three Transcarpathian authors – Halyna Malyk, Oleksandr Havrosh and Irysya Lykovych.
Previously, such anthologies of modern Ukrainian literature have been published only in French and Norwegian languages.
