"The question of accession of the surrounding villages to the regional center depends solely on the village communities. I think it would be logical. We calculated that out of three thousand residents of Mynai, two thousand work or study in Uzhgorod. And this is natural, because there are more jobs and better learning conditions here," – the Mayor of Uzhgorod Victor Pogorelov said at the press conference.
According to him, if the village councils wanted to annex to the city, they would probably be gladly accepted.
