Uzhgorod took the children’s railway on the balance sheet. They will think what to do with it later

 Today, March 29, at the assembly meeting of the Uzhgorod city council, the issue of taking of children’s railway on the balance sheet caused stormy debate among the members.

 Uzhgorod Mayor Victor Pogorelov said that there was the investment project to connect the city center with the park, it would be an image project, but it would not bring money.

 Lviv Railways Directorate, which had had the children’s railway on their balance sheet until now, required not to privatize the facility.

 So the deputies agreed to take the children’s railroad on the balance sheet, but in order to decide later whether to privatize and what to do with it.

Now the railwaymen must make the decision.
