Today, athletes of the Uzhgorod sports club Korolovych team returned from the first of this year’s international competition – the European Kickboxing Cup "Golden glove".
The tournament, that was held in the Italian city of Conegliano, brought together over one and a half thousand athletes from 22 countries. The team of Vladislav Korolovych was represented by five fighters.
This time they showed excellent results again – the young Uzhgorod athletes won 13 awards – 4 gold, 4 silver and 5 bronze medals. This allowed the club to take the 14th place out of 100 teams!
We sincerely congratulate the athletes, their parents and trainers – Vladislav Korolovych and Valentina Hlukhenko. Great start of the year!
And some sports plans: on February 8-10, the second stage of the European Kickboxing Cup will be held in Croatia, in the city of Karloc. Dasha Korolovych from Uzhgorod will take part in it as a member of the national team of Ukraine.
