In Brno at the National University of Tomas Masaryk the International Dental Students Congress took place, which was organized by Czech Association of Student Dentists.
Among the nearly hundred participants from 12 countries such as Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Georgia, Serbia, Iraq, Egypt and others, Ukraine was represented by future dentists, including fourth year student of dental faculty of Uzhgorod National University – Myroslav Honcharuk-Khomyn. The program of the Congress included professional workshops on implantology, maxillofacial surgery, endodontics and professional communication, lectures on innovations in pediatric dentistry and dental management.
All the events were held by internationally renowned dentists such as Professor Renato de Toledo Leonardo, Roman Shmutzler, Daniel Czerny and others. During the Congress the 10th students’ research conference of the International Association of Dental Students was held, and the student of fourth year of dental faculty UzhNU has gained the victory by representing the work of "Clinical and experimental study to improve methods of determining the age adults by dental status." The supervisor os the winner was Professor Kostenko.
As an award winner he received specialized individual binoculars for microbiotomy from British company UKLoupes. We wish Myroslav new achivements in the future conferences and congresses and inspiration for scientific activities.
